Sunrise Radio is gearing up to launch the first 'Asian Lifestyle Exhibition' at London's Olympia Grand Hall this July. The three day event will bring together many different aspects of sub-continental culture, targetting not just the Asian community but also others interested in the lifestyle.

The event is being spearheaded by Sunrise Radio Managing Director Tony Lit who says: "There have been many attempts to create this type of show in the past, but there has always been something missing, either the products have been right and the venue wrong, or the venue is right and the product wrong. This show intends to deliver on both fronts and is an event not to be missed."

Aside from a troupe of some big name Bollywood stars, the exhibition will also feature live performances from the singer Raghav and producer / DJ Rishi Rich. It is being supported by Sony Entertainment Television Asia, the Mayor of London, the GLA and British Airways. It will take place on 9th, 10th and 11th July 2004.

The organisers say it will 'showcase a plethora of exhibitors from near and far giving Asian and mainstream brands and services a unique opportunity to display their products to consumers of all backgrounds, cultures and countries'. The event hopes to capitalise on the growing interest in Asian culture in the west.

Exhibitors will showcase goods covering all aspects of lifestyle. These include: Astrology, Business & Enterprise, Cookery, DIY, Education, Entertainment, Fashion, Fitness, Food & Drink, Hair & Beauty, Health, Home - Style, Jewellery & Accessories, Mind & Body – Ayurveda, Music, Sports, Technology & Communications and Weddings.

In addition, a variety of interactive activities will be on offer including astrology readings, beauty makeovers, recruitment village, cookery demonstrations, cinema theatre, sports demonstrations, kids activity playground and a 'Virtual Reality Experience'.
