Asiana Bridal Show to change venues for January event
10th October, 2005

Sunrise Radio's managing director Tony Lit unveiled a new location on the bank of the river thames yesterday, for the Asiana Bridal Show next year.

The event, which takes place every year in January, will now be held at the Riverbank Park Plaza hotel in Embankment, central London.

It has previously been held at Cafe Royale in Piccadilly Circus.

Organisers said the new venue offered better accessibility, usage of floor space and more suited infrastructure to the event.

The bridal-wear and weddings show is spearheaded by Asiana Wedding magazine and features fashion shows alongside marriage related stalls. Organisers say it displays top-end wedding fashion while bringing only the creme de la creme of Asian wedding services and suppliers together together under one roof.

Sunrise, Asiana and Madhu's restaurant remain the principle partners for the event next year.

Sony Entertainment Asia and Kismat radio will be the media partners.

At a launch event held at the Riverbank Park Plaze yesterdaym, Tony Lit said the Sunrise group would start promoting the event in November and had put aside £58,000 worth of advertising for the event.

It will also be heavily promoted on Sony Asia and its new sister station Set Max in the run-up to the event.

The Asiana Bridal Show will take place Sunday 29th January 2006.
