Forums and discussion
We want The Forum to be the place where you can find lively and intelligent discussions. The last thing the net needs is yet another site where any attempt at conversation is drowned out by a few people hurling mindless abuse at each other.

The Asians in Media team reserve the right to remove postings from our bulletin boards. We prefer not to, as we do believe in freedom of speech. But if any of the messages don't follow certain criteria then they will be removed. These criteria are:
  1. There should be no obscenity and mindless abuse. Personal attacks on other users have no place in an intelligent discussion.

  2. We will not tolerate racism, sexism, religious bigotry or homophobia.

  3. We will remove any content that may put us in legal jeopardy, such as potentially libellous or defamatory postings.

  4. While we encourage a wide range of views, we will consider removing any content that other users might find extremely offensive or threatening.

  5. Comments should be relevant to that news or discussion.

  6. While commentary and opinions on industry figures are allowed, they have to be constructive. Anything construed as slander by competitors, or simply venting your hatred of someone won't be tolerated. This is a small industry - we prefer to concentrate on people's positive achievements.

  7. Users should stick to one username. Anyone found posting seperate messages under different names to promote or make a viewpoint might lose all their messages posted.

If you act with maturity and consideration for other users, you should have no problems on our boards.
