Highlighting Club Asia's callous behaviour towards Veena V
Monday, 24th September
The decision by Club Asia radio to stop Veena V from broadcasting her last show because of our story was callous, says editor Sunny Hundal. It just shows how bad standards are within the industry.

time and time again, and i find it
interesting how you even state in
your article that unless the person is
well known, you have not previously
been interested in covering the issue
of the treatment of media
professionals within Asian Media in
particular. Surely this should be part
of the agenda for your remit, since
you feel the need to be one of the
vocal representatives of the industry.
Frankly, i find your coverage of the
current Clubasia issues filled with
some form of personal agenda (this
is just an assumption i am making,
please feel free to correct me if i am
wrong) To add, this all serves to
bring some great PR for Veena V,
who is part of a pool of talents, and
one of many media professionals
who has been through a similar
experience. And i would also like to
reiterate your recomendations for all
professionals in the industry or
entering the industry to be part of
NUJ or BECTU + related industry
unions. Just don't tell your employer
you have done so during your
interview!! And Sunny, i have also
sensed some tinges of a personal
gripe towards the BBC, is this also
another personal agenda, just out of
interest?
