Faria Alam and Juggy D to appear in gangster flick

Sunday, 5th August

It looks like the British Asian version of Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Will it be as good? An upcoming film features cameo roles by tabloid favourite Faria Alam and Bhangra singer Juggy D along with other familiar names.

Holy crap.

This looks just as derivative, unimaginative and contrived as Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. It's got the same style of bad actors trying to be 'ard!®.

That's one of the most original reviews I've ever read.

Well, at least its not some dour kitchen sink crap or broad northern Arranged Marriage bawdy comedy. But the title stinks. Somewhere there's a great and original movie to be made about Asian life in Britain, this looks like it falls short though.
