Graphic designer for magazine

We are currently on the lookout for freelance graphic designers for a magazine that is under construction.

It is essential you have some experience of the magazine industry as this is a very specialised post which will culminate in a funky, fresh and vibrant publication for a niche market.

Your general duties will include designing pages to a specific brief, occasional advert construction, design input and ideas of your own and working on aspects of company literature.

Your initial duties will be:
• Design and follow briefs for magazine content.
• Design any promotional literature/flyers/leaflets.
• Liaise with editorial department
• Liaise with IT to enhance website.

Programs you will know:
• Photoshop
• Indesign/Quark
• Microsoft word

Knowledge of any other programmes would be an advantage.

We would require you to work out of office so an internet connection and computer access would be vital.
