hiya sam how did the laser go?

i had 3 treatments of laser a year ago....with laser they say you need atleast 6treatments but it all depeends on skin colour and hair texture.

i had to stop having laser done due to pregnancy, ive restarted as i wana give it anothr go coz i belive its defintly better then waxing threading and the rest. it might not make you 100% hair freel but it will definitly help reduce the amout of hair.

can i ask you which area you had treated n how much did it cost u? which laser did they use....and u should urge the laser specialists to use the highest setting that they can use safely on your skin without burning it...coz sometimes they undertreat the area by using very low settings hence you need more treatments, as the very low settings are almost useless.

also if you have coloured skin the best laser for you is ND yagg laser.

Hi

I have had treatments at The Laser Treatment Clinic at 1 Harley Street London (0207 307 8712) and their website is www.thelasertreatmentclinic.com
I have had really good results and so has my sister who started before me and reccommended them to me. I hope this helps. They use the most advanced system for asian skin and have been one of the first established clinics i think 10years in laser.

I go and see Sonal Patel at Viva Clinic in Golders Green. I read about her on the internet (a few people had written good things about her).

She has been lasering for 7 years and is really nice and explains things well. 0845 652 8999

My fiance cannot stop raving on about Skin Clinics and how smooth, sexy and siky her legs are (not that i'm complaining : ) ) the prices appear to be pretty reasonable so she says and i think they have various branches across the UK. She uses the one in Maida Vale

If you are looking for a Laser Hair
Removal then you should think about
the following:

Is the machine capable of treating
darker skin types?

Is the operator registered with the
HCC?

Do they have a track record of
treating Asians and those with darker
skins?

How long have they been in the
business?

Are they sympathetic to your needs?

Asian (and dark skin) laser hair
removal needs to be performed by a
qualified and registered (HCC)
operator with the right laser
(Nd:Yag).

Look for the above when choosing
someone to perform this type of
treatment.

I am biased but it really does work!

Hi, I really reccomend the clininc I go to in London. Its called Aitec Beauty Clinic. They do a treatment called IPL ( intense pulse light) which is a bit more advanced than laser, alot less painful and much safer for Asian skins as it doesnt cause pigmentation. I have done mose areas and have had brilliant success!!!
This clinic is registered so its very safe!!

Hey,

Laser is really good, its a tiny bit painfull and you have to go monthly to get area treated. You have to shave the area during that month if hair grows back - but overall the end results are good.

If you have pale skin and dark hair
you're perfect candidate for laser
hair removal. It's not painful, it
doesn't mark the skin and it's
permanent. There is a much cheaper
and more convenient option to salon
treatment - a home use laser hair
removal system called Tria. It's a
handheld device that you can use in
the comfort of your own home. I
bought mine at
www.beautyisskindeep.com £100
below RRP. It’s pricey but even at
£600 it's pretty cost effective as it
works out at about 25 salon full-leg
waxes. Now that i'm hair free I'm
loaning it to my friends for a small
fee, by the time everyone is done
with it and I put in on eBay I'll be
quids in. :-)
