Mixed faith marriage

by zenab eve
01:07pm - 18th April, 2008

I am a freelance journalist and writer who is 'authoring' two ten-minute films for the BBC's new Sunday morning faith and ethics show on growing up in a mixed faith family. In my case, it was Pakistani/Islam and English/Christianity. I am looking back at my experience and fast forwarding to now - how do families negotiate their mixed faiths today? The themes will be handled in a mature and sensitive manner. The faiths I am considering are xtian/sikh; xtian/hindu; xtian/islam; xtian/jewish.

I would like to talk to mixed faith couples who would talk to me on camera about the great things about their different faiths converging in their relationship. I also need to talk to mixed heritage individuals growing up in mixed faith homes - what is their experience?

If you are interested please email me at: eve.ahmed@gmail.com

Thank you!
