Just watched this- that Notorious Jutt is a complete and utter tosser

I'm a Brahmin, yet i would never belittle anyone or not speak to someone who is not the same caste as me.

Felt really sorry for the bloke who had to lie to people about his background just so that he could fit in.

Being a certain caste does not define you as a person, your deeds, heart, personality and generally being a good human being does. It's shocking that such backward narrow minded views have crept into the UK.

I know in India, it's not as prevalent in the big cities (or maybe not as widely reported anymore) but definitely in the smaller towns

Still there are so called bandits or rich families who have taken it upon themselves to be the 'Council Leaders' in ordering couples to be stoned to death or shot for falling in love.

I knew a girl once, whose sister was a higher caste but her husband was a lower caste (they had run away) and were caught and shot- it's tragic but it's an issue that keeps on being brushed under the carpet and never seems to go away

Doesn't that suggest a hint of caste superiority yourself?Only asking.

Tourist, no not at all. I was using that as an example

I do not think myself to be superior just because of the caste i belong to neither does my family. If that was the case, then they would not have allowed both my brother and sister to marry out of the caste. End of the day, they just want us to be happy, but unfortunately such narrow mindedness still exists in other communities. It's like i said, a caste does not define you as a person

a report by the Anti Caste Discrimination Alliance (ACDA) published in November 2009. Has revealed further shocking examples of caste discrimination in Britain there was. ‘A manager of a bus station in Southampton who had to re-organise the shift system so that a ‘higher caste inspector would not need to work with a lower caste bus driver’. The case of a ‘physiotherapist who refused to treat someone of a lower caste’
