Music and identity

Hi,
I'm Sarah and I'm writing my thesis (MA) in cultural anthropology. My topic is: Self-representation via music of „British Asians“ in the UK. I want to do some interviews, so I thought this forum might be good to get in touch with people.
To give you some more information: My focus is on the construction of identity of „British Asians“ and how the identity is represented or even constructed through/influenced by „British Asian“(!) music. I will write about „British Asians“ who grew up in the UK but whose parents are from the South Asian subcontinent. Therefore I'm looking for „British Asian“ interview partners who are into „British Asian“ music and who would be interested in taking part in a qualitative interview which means the interviewee would have the chance to answer the questions freely. The interview would of course be anonymous which means I wouldn't use the interviewee's real name but a fictional one. I would need people based in London for my interviews.
I would be very glad if someone could help me out! So please don't hesitate to contact me if you're interested or know someone who might be!
Cheers,
Sarah
