was he the most miserable beatle?

I was watching the anthology dvd set last week and i always thought John was the most acerbic and sarcastic, but that was all to do with his mum dying just when he was trying to bond with her yet again. George on the other hand...

If not the most miserable, then at least the most bitter.

At the time of Anthology, he still held a grudge against George Martin, for overlooking his songs.

That's something for which Martin publicly apologised in the 70's.

But it was Harrisons stubborness which meant Jeff Lynne mis-produced Free As A Bird.

George always spat bile at both lennon and mccartney for "stifling" his talent, but admittedly the barbs against mccartney were quite hilarious and pointed.

I agree on free as a bird, which was and is a travesty of a record. Real Love is even worse...penchaud satya naas
