GP has assessed and made his decision, and thats cool.
Personally I believe in Carpe diem and he should have gone for it but, he knows the score!

directly then do it indirectly, slip in a
few questions every now and then
when your just having a laugh and
see how she responds ( I mean
about you and her)

Or you could just ask her generally,
you know generally about life and
future, with out putting your self in the
equation. That way you don’t put her
on the spot about how you feel and
you won’t loose your friendship. Ask
her if she could ever see her self
settling down in life or what she plans
for the near future or her family and
whether they ever poached the
question of marriage… and so on.
I’m sure something will come out of
that for you.
