In through the out door

All of my love is one of my fave Zep tracks.

I think this album is the predessesor to all those 80's soft rock bands...

BonJovi, Europe, Whitesnake etc

mola, led zepp have loads of great tracks in their repertoire :-)

In through the out door contains some good maal, probably soft rocked, cause jimmy page was too deep in "horse" to do much other than add guitr parts on aftwerwards. most of it as written by jpj and plant.

Metallica wipe the floor with Led Zepp! Maybe its coz I'm from a different generation to you more 'seasoned' guys.

They been around for ages and still are good!

Except for their views on downloading songs.....sharing is caring I say!

Metallica are a greatr band and great musicians too (they are all jazz trained!).

But when it comes to wiping the floor, LedZep do it with aplomb.

Zep are more influential, more diverse in their music, more sampled, shagged more women, more ridiculous, took more drugs and have many more rock myths surrounding them.

Also Robert Plant was shacked up with a desi for a number of years. so that makes him, one of ours!

Metallica on the other hand will be remembered for being millionaires who whined about downlaoding being bad.

Ok, what about Iron Maiden? Number of the Beast was one of the finest albums ever produced!

Plenty of sex. drugs and Rock N Roll to go about I rekon with that lot!

Iron maiden have a lead singer who attempted to "go posh", by learning fencing and then hit an all time nadir...

he started to write FICTION, the likes of which is slightly above viz-standard. He also wanted to be taken seriously as a writer...he then went and cut his hair very short.

iron maiden have NO CREDIBILITY whatsoever.

shame really, as some of their stuff isnt too bad, but theyll now always be a slightly cartoony band as a result.

metallica - lars ullrich is a whinging, whining knob.
