Description
Being dragged back to the family village thousands of miles away by her mother is no fun for 13 year old Nasreen.
In the monsoon rain, surrounded by wagging tongues of relatives and not being able to text her friends. Nasreen discovers that the mystical power of henna can lead to unexpected events.
Based on real stories from Muslim women this is an evocative and enchanting story of homecoming, adventure, fear and joy for a girl and her mother
