After four years as Senior Reporter at Eastern Eye, Aditi Khanna has left the newspaper to go freelance. She will do some shifts on national newspapers as well as the BBC, telling AIM she was looking to develop more skills in online media.
She said: “The credit crunch and downturn gloom probably hit the media industry the hardest, or at least felt like it. EE went through its most tumultous phase but we came out of it a stronger team.”
“I still retain a bond with the paper and will carry working with them on a freelance basis.”
“In the midst of all this upheaval, the one thing I remain convinced about is my love for news reporting and I intend to keep doing that while experimenting with different media.”
