Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan remembered in tribute concert

The Birmingham Symphony Orchestra has joined hands with Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan & group to pay tribute to one of the world’s greatest vocalists: the late Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.

Over a total of four evenings, audiences at Birmingham’s Symphony Hall, the Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham and London’s Royal Festival Hall will be treated to the unique collaboration.

The 75-piece symphony orchestra will perform Qawwali classics such as Dum Must Qalander and Yeh Jo Halka, Halka to love songs like Piya Re Piya Re and popular Bollywood numbers

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan will be in London on Tuesday 18th August and available for interview.
