Sources say Farah Damji remanded in custody
August 13, 2009

Former editor and writer Farah Damji may be remanded in police custody after being arrested last week.

AIM Magazine has heard from several sources that she is back in prison but has been unable to confirm it officially from the prison service or the Courts.

A call to Blackfriars Crown Court confirmed that she was still awaiting trial with a court date mutually acceptable to both parties yet to be decided.

That trial is for a guilty plea to new offences she has admitted to more recently last year.

The former editor of Another Generation magazine has been very difficult to get hold of.

Repeated calls to the Ark Press office, which say they are publishing her book Try Me, have gone unanswered.

AIM Magazine will update this story as new information comes in.
