ADF announce new tour to counter BNP threat
May 20, 2009

The critically acclaimed band Asian Dub Foundation have announced their first UK tour in year – with a particular focus on attacking the BNP. (dates & video below)

The tour will also promote their new album Punkara – featuring new vocalist Al Rumjen, formerly of King Prawn.

They say their new Beatin’ Back The BNP tour was organised partly in response to “the real possibility that a member of the British National Party may win a seat in the European Parliament.”

It will be held in association with Love Music Hate Racism.

Tour
Guardian Hay Festival – Wales – Friday 22nd May

Derby Assembly Rooms – Saturday 23rd May

Manchester Academy 2 – Sunday 24th May

Sheffield Plug In – Monday 25th May
