Want to pitch your documentary/film idea?
March 17, 2009

Have you had documentary commissions or some other success on Asian and Muslim channels? Are you ready to get onto mainstream TV? Then this opportunity is for you.

The Cineforum on Muslim Women: Visibility and Leadership is a one day film festival and conference on the 30th March 2009 in London. They are offering 10 people the chance to pitch to a panel of commissioners from mainstream broadcast channels.

The Cineforum is all about getting into the right networks and we want to give you the chance to get your name and face known by these commissioners. Not to mention you might even get a commission!

The Panel is made up of Aaqil Ahmed from Channel 4, Emily Renshaw Smith from Current TV and Adam Kemp from the BBC. You can find more info about their commissioning areas on our website: www.cineforum.co.uk.

To apply, please send a ONE PAGE treatment to lina@fairknowledge.co.uk. The Cineforum Steering Group will make a shortlist of 10 to pitch.

You can find our details also on the site. If selected, you will also receive a pitch coaching session with Liz Hartford, who’s been an executive producer for nearly 20 years at the BBC, RDF and Channel 4.
