The London UK Film Focus (LUFF) will return to the capital from 30 June – 3 July 2008 at the BFI Southbank.
Now in its fifth year, the four-day export event will again provide a platform to celebrate and promote British films and talent to the international market. The strictly by-invitation-only event attracts 150 buyers from all world territories who come to see around 40 British titles.
In addition to premiere and regular screenings of new British films represented by UK Sales Agents, the event will also feature a Breakthrough strand –
exposing feature projects from emerging British film-makers seeking sales representation.

If you have a British film project of theatrical nature, quality and length, that will be ready for delivery in June 2008 and would like to submit it to the Breakthrough strand please send your DVD to:

Selected titles will need to be supplied on digi-beta formats, subject to technical facilities and will incur a fee of £300. This fee provides each successful company with two full accreditations to LUFF, affording delegate access to:
* All LUFF networking events
* The Delegates Centre at the BFI Southbank where you can meet sales agents and international buyers
* A list of a list of sales agents attending LUFF 2008.
Unfortunately DVD’s cannot be returned and only British films are eligible.
The deadline for all submissions to Breakthrough is 5pm, Friday 28 March 2008. All successful companies will be notified in April 2008 if their film is selected.
