Are you interested in Bhangra music and its history?
Do you enjoy Theatre and want to learn more about how professional theatre productions are developed?
Want to meet new people and to work with a professional creative team?
Do you live in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire or West London?
After the success of our past productions, ‘There’s Something About Simmy’, ‘Meri Christmas’ and ‘The Deranged Marriage’; Rifco Arts are developing our
first full scale musical which will tour the country in 2010. To help support the creation of this production we are looking for young people with an interest in Bhangra music and knowledge of British Asian Culture to join our script development team.
We welcome applications from Young British Asian men.
The Script development team meet on average twice per month in order to share their views and ideas about the best way to develop our musical.
Members are encouraged to become an active part of the life of our new production by bringing their ideas about the kind of theatre they want to see, the music and experiences they feel should be represented. Participants involved in this initiative will get the opportunity to work collaboratively
alongside Rifco Arts professional creative team, including Artistic Director Pravesh Kumar. This is a voluntary position, which would suit individuals
within easy access of Slough.
If you have an interest in Bhangra Music, Theatre and Writing and would like to influence our biggest project to date, or just to find out more about the
project e mail: lucy@rifcoarts.com
Rifco Arts are supported by Arts Council England
